Very straight forward. A very good handover and explanation of the car's features. I could just drive off! As an aside, need to watch balloons (latex) as my wife is allergic and that means she couldn't enter the dealership when they're about.

The Service was completed quickly whilst I waited in pleasant surroundings. The staff were very approachable polite and helpful. Warranty work was identified at the service and this was helpfully completed the next day ( otherwise February!!)

Booked in for a 2 hour oil change service for which I decided to wait. For some reason it took nearly 4 hours, but at no time while I waited was I advised of a delay. I will not be using Vertu again, even though they are my local agent.

Tyre wear measurements were inaccurate, leaving me to drive away with 2mm of tread (stated 3.5mm) on rear tyres which was unsafe. Had puncture 2 days later - fortunately not at speed - and real wear was verified by AA and Kwikfit.

Asked for seasonal service to be included in first service as per service plan. No record to say this had been completed. Asked for car to be ready for 1600. Had to phone garage. Wasnt ready until nearly 1700 when I had dropped it off by 0830.

Two cars have been servicing in the last 2 months by Vertu BMW York and I am satisfied with both. The Mini was done on 1st October and the M340d on the 9th December. The BMW service was delayed longer than I wanted due to lack of loan vehicles.

Really like the videos that are sent, clear and concise. Staff were great when collecting. Drop off the keys was easy. Only comment would be, I checked in online then had to check in again at the automatic key drop. Wasnt hard but just inconvenient.

The car was given a vehicle health check. £ 387.77 to replace the bonnet release cable. It was clear it was broken inside the car. This OE part costs £23. Plus 40 minutes to fit. 2 * On the positive side all the staff i spoke to were fantastic. 10*

The car is vacuumed and washed whilst in for a service. When I picked the car up it was all marked. Not been cleaned properly and I think the vacuum was not working properly as mates not cleaned to the usual high BMW Standards.

I was well looked after by Sophie, she is an absolute credit to the dealership. One small issue was the bonnet of the car hadn't been closed fully meaning I had to pull over on the A19 when the bonnet started lifting and secure it properly.
